Prepare pomegranates:
- Wash fruit. Note: soaking pomegranates in water will clean and soften outer shells.
- Trim off the pomegranate blossom and cut pomegranate in halves or quarters.
- Place in strainer in pot.

Prepare press:
- Place jack under lift plate.
- Fit jack handle.
- Adjust press plate.

Position pot:
- Place pot with pomegranates on lift plate.
- Release press plate so that it sits on top of the fruit.
- Place pin in lowest visible hole.
